Image
Last monday we had a district P day and it was a lot of fun. Who knew playing card games all afternoon would be fun. We also played the game ghetto baseball  and it was super fun until an elder almost broke the microphone and then almost broke the window. We then decided to stop.  This week was so crazy busy!! we found a ton of people and spent a lot of time in the Park. We are currently teaching 5 people and its been so awesome!  Heres are friends with baptism dates theres 2 ( soon to be more ): Nicolas: what a guy!  literally amazing he is on date for baptism and came to church for a second time so technically he can be baptized on saturday but we will see. He is such a cool guy he has a ton of questions and genially enjoys learning. We had such powerful lessons with him and it was such a fight for him to accept a baptism date but i have gotten really good and bajando la caƱa but with love and after such a powerful lesson he accepted. He is cool dude #ticktoker. He...

Hola hola  Lets get into it  Lucas ( 20 ) #1 was not baptized this week but Lucas #2 was. We found him because his mom was an inactive member but her kids werent ever baptized. Lucas is the oldest and since we were able to reactivate his mom he started coming to church and taking the lessons. He is a super sweet kid with such a strong testimony. He came to Jojos baptism last week and when he saw her baptized he wanted to do it as well. His baptism was kind of all over the place but it was super spiritual and he was so happy and smiling so so much.  We worked a lot with Lucas (20 ) this week he passed his baptism interview and its all set for this sunday. I am a little nervous because our misson president is coming to his baptism so please pray that it all goes smoothly.  Lots and lots of stress this week but the biggest miracle is finding out that transfer dates have changed to august. Apparently when hermana Ballam arrived she started a new transfer 3 weeks early so...

On monday I had my very first zone p day ( yes my first one ) and it was so fun. Since we are in a new mission we have new rules so we all got together and it was fun. We played volleyball and made churipan!! It was fun to get to know everyone.  Fun not fun stuff:  Our mission hours have changes. we now wake up 6:30 instead of 7:00 i wanted to die the first day but after that it was fine also we only get 30 minutes to shower and get ready for bed but theres 5 of us and we have to heat our water to shower so its been rough but we are surviving.  I lost my voice for 2 days and sounded like a man for most of the week. The cold weather has not been kind to me.  Also I recieved myplan so i guess that means i am offically dying ( iykyk )   Fun stuff:  We had interviews with presient. Wow it was such a good interview we spent the most part of it talking about my personal study of the book of mormon and it was super cool. We talked about the progress of Hermana Bal...

Week 65: The First Trainer Of The M.A.T

On tuesday we had our very first zone conference of the MAT and it was so good and for the first time in almost my entire mission it was a zone conference without charts, tables, and mission data. It was a warmth that was so loving and our new mission president and his wife are literally so cute and have very powerful testimonies. It was a very spiritually uplifting moment. At the end of the meeting in front of everyone he goes " i need to meet with Hermana Jensen y hermana Cunha in an interview" and everyone literally looked at us and were like "oooohhh" me and Hermana cunha were super confused but we got called into his office and he sits me down and goes " hermana Jensen theres a new missionary arriving tomorrow and we are calling you as her trainer" .  He continues and says " a few days ago me and the APs were talking and going through all the sisters in the whole mission and we all had the impression to call you Hermana jensen as her trainer...

Well another week has come and gone!  This week our mission finally split and the mission Tucuman was created. It was kind of wierd because on tuesday our new mission president hadnt arrived and our old mission president literally kicked us out of his mission so we went without a leader for a few days so that was fun. But it was kind of like a knife in the heart because our mission president literally was like " your not apart of the salta mission anymore but your baptisms this week are" so we were all kind of mad at him but its fine because now President Hermosilla is here and we are all happy!!! We have zone conference this week to meet him and we are super excited!!!  I am offically apart of the Tucuman mission so VAMOS LA M.A.T!!!! I am so excited to be apart of opening a new mission and i am just super excited!!!! If i havent expressed how excited i am I AM SO FLIPPIN EXCITED!!! Branch saving update:  Ok so its not going too well jajaja last week we had a good t...
