Week 67: Lucas #2 Baptism Y 15 Meses

Hola hola 
Lets get into it 

Lucas ( 20 ) #1 was not baptized this week but Lucas #2 was. We found him because his mom was an inactive member but her kids werent ever baptized. Lucas is the oldest and since we were able to reactivate his mom he started coming to church and taking the lessons. He is a super sweet kid with such a strong testimony. He came to Jojos baptism last week and when he saw her baptized he wanted to do it as well. His baptism was kind of all over the place but it was super spiritual and he was so happy and smiling so so much. 

We worked a lot with Lucas (20 ) this week he passed his baptism interview and its all set for this sunday. I am a little nervous because our misson president is coming to his baptism so please pray that it all goes smoothly. 

Lots and lots of stress this week but the biggest miracle is finding out that transfer dates have changed to august. Apparently when hermana Ballam arrived she started a new transfer 3 weeks early so we still have three weeks to be able get the branch attendence up. So far we are doing super well and are reactiviating and boosting the moral of all the members. 

Hermana Cunha has offically left. That was a hard goodbye. We passed a total of 5 1/2 months together so it was hard saying goodbye. 

We have a new friend Nicolas he came to church and he seems like a cool dude. We invited him to be baptized but he rejected us but told us that in the future he would like to. For me the future means in two weeks so pray for him to accepted a date this week. 

We starting doing whiteboarding in the Park by the church ( @trentperrins ) for giving me the idea jajaja. And it was super successful we got 10 new phone numbers and have started teaching almost half of them!

Week 76: 17 Months, Hotter Than Mars And ITS SPRING!!!

Whatttttttt i cant believe I am at 17 months ! Monday we did a district Pday in the Mountains. It sounds all nice and dandy but it wasnt. The ride up was twisty and we were in this old bus that tilted off the side of the cliff everytime we turned. We saw a 100 foot tall virgin statue and then a few yards away this minsicule jesus statue that you had to squint to see ( argentinas sure got her priorities straight here ) It was over 100 degrees and dusty. We hiked and ate asado which was the best part. I felt like angelia in the office when I said the music was too loud. On my behalf we couldnt hear eaxh other and had to ScReAm to speak.  Anways we ended up getting stuck in the Mountain because we missed the bus twice but it was fine because we ended up playing Catan i was partnered with elder Heredia and we won. and we drank mate you know theres nothing like sharing the same drink and straw between 8 missionaries as a bonding exercise. we love a good mateada. Week 77: Trio Life…Again

Tuesday: we had a good day we picked up the Hermana Osmond from the terminal and got everything organized and we went to work we put 3 people on date for baptism so awesome and we have just been having a blast together. I am back to sleeping on the floor. With three of us sharing a room theres not enough beds so I am on the floor but I offered.  It will make me appreciate my bed at home all the more.  so right now i am kinda training not training both hermana Osmond and Hermana Ballam have just gotten out of their training and i am here to see how they will do on their own without me president literally called me personally and told me i am a glorified babysitter for the next 3 weeks itll be fun they are awesome i have enjoyed it so far . Wednesday: we put Samuel back on date for baptism so that was awesome!! For lunch we ate with a member and they pulled voka out of the fridge and poured me a glass best water ever. Week 22: A Cruel Joke And Lautaros Baptism!!!!!!!

Muy buenos dias bienvenidos a una otra semana!  Bueno this week was good on Monday me and Hermana Braatz wondered into a Catholic Mass where we got really wierd looks. It was a very peaceful experience we also saw some one get shushed by a priest and it was really funny we had to leave before we laughed to loud.  Thursday: our district leaders played a CRUEL joke on us. In the afternoon we waited patiently to recieve a call saying the Lautaro passed his baptism interview and at 4:30 or so we recieved a text from the Elders saying that they needed to talk to us about Lautaro because he failed his interview. We freaked out trying to call them sent texts and they werent responding so we trecked the 40 minute walk to Lautaros house and knocked on his door determined to find out what happened his sister answered and said that he had left because he failed the interview and we asked about what had happened and she told us that he couldnt answer some of the questions  because we...
