Week 65: The First Trainer Of The M.A.T

On tuesday we had our very first zone conference of the MAT and it was so good and for the first time in almost my entire mission it was a zone conference without charts, tables, and mission data. It was a warmth that was so loving and our new mission president and his wife are literally so cute and have very powerful testimonies. It was a very spiritually uplifting moment. At the end of the meeting in front of everyone he goes " i need to meet with Hermana Jensen y hermana Cunha in an interview" and everyone literally looked at us and were like "oooohhh" me and Hermana cunha were super confused but we got called into his office and he sits me down and goes " hermana Jensen theres a new missionary arriving tomorrow and we are calling you as her trainer" .
 He continues and says " a few days ago me and the APs were talking and going through all the sisters in the whole mission and we all had the impression to call you Hermana jensen as her trainer" i was shocked and started nervous giggling and he literally goes" its a lot of responsability being called  as the first trainer in the mission argentina tucuman but no pressure " so i am making history as the first trainer in the mission argentina tucuman so lets go!! 

Me and Hermana Cunha are still together but our misson president told us that hermana Cunha was not aloud to talk or do anything and that i am the trainer and shes not allowed to do anything so that was wierd but its been good 

My "baby" is the Hermana Ballam she is from Utah and is the cutest person ever. I have loved loved loved training her. She is not afriad to talk to people the first day we went to work and she started talking to people and stopping them on the street. Although she is still learning spanish she is awesome and inspires me to be better. She put 2 people on date for baptism this week. She is bringing miracles that have never been seen before in Monteros. 

On the fourth of july we celebrated by eating hamburgers and Hermana Cunha painted our face but she painted the wrong flag it was super funny but we had a good time. 

After weeks and weeks of fighting to find new people fighting to put people on date for baptism we put 4 people on date this week and are planning a baptism for this saturday!!! Hermana Ballam is bringing so many miracles its been so amazing to see!!!

Jojo: she is 8 and has her baptism planned for this saturday, we have her moms permission and signature so we are super excited!! 

Lucas: he is 20 and is so funny. He came to church for the first time and turned to me and said " I really want to be baptized now" he has his baptism date set for next saturday so we have a lot of faith in him. 

Jorge: he is 15 and we met him at a park with a group of his friends. We invited him to come to a church activity and he came and we have plans to meet up with him and put him on date this week. 

Branch saving update: 
Its been good. We had a ton of inactive members come to our church movie night on saturday and 20 people showed up at the sacrament meeting so that was a bonus. Things are slowly looking up and its been super good. We are feeling good and happy!!

Week 76: 17 Months, Hotter Than Mars And ITS SPRING!!!

Whatttttttt i cant believe I am at 17 months ! Monday we did a district Pday in the Mountains. It sounds all nice and dandy but it wasnt. The ride up was twisty and we were in this old bus that tilted off the side of the cliff everytime we turned. We saw a 100 foot tall virgin statue and then a few yards away this minsicule jesus statue that you had to squint to see ( argentinas sure got her priorities straight here ) It was over 100 degrees and dusty. We hiked and ate asado which was the best part. I felt like angelia in the office when I said the music was too loud. On my behalf we couldnt hear eaxh other and had to ScReAm to speak.  Anways we ended up getting stuck in the Mountain because we missed the bus twice but it was fine because we ended up playing Catan i was partnered with elder Heredia and we won. and we drank mate you know theres nothing like sharing the same drink and straw between 8 missionaries as a bonding exercise. we love a good mateada. Week 77: Trio Life…Again

Tuesday: we had a good day we picked up the Hermana Osmond from the terminal and got everything organized and we went to work we put 3 people on date for baptism so awesome and we have just been having a blast together. I am back to sleeping on the floor. With three of us sharing a room theres not enough beds so I am on the floor but I offered.  It will make me appreciate my bed at home all the more.  so right now i am kinda training not training both hermana Osmond and Hermana Ballam have just gotten out of their training and i am here to see how they will do on their own without me president literally called me personally and told me i am a glorified babysitter for the next 3 weeks itll be fun they are awesome i have enjoyed it so far . Wednesday: we put Samuel back on date for baptism so that was awesome!! For lunch we ate with a member and they pulled voka out of the fridge and poured me a glass best water ever. Week 22: A Cruel Joke And Lautaros Baptism!!!!!!!

Muy buenos dias bienvenidos a una otra semana!  Bueno this week was good on Monday me and Hermana Braatz wondered into a Catholic Mass where we got really wierd looks. It was a very peaceful experience we also saw some one get shushed by a priest and it was really funny we had to leave before we laughed to loud.  Thursday: our district leaders played a CRUEL joke on us. In the afternoon we waited patiently to recieve a call saying the Lautaro passed his baptism interview and at 4:30 or so we recieved a text from the Elders saying that they needed to talk to us about Lautaro because he failed his interview. We freaked out trying to call them sent texts and they werent responding so we trecked the 40 minute walk to Lautaros house and knocked on his door determined to find out what happened his sister answered and said that he had left because he failed the interview and we asked about what had happened and she told us that he couldnt answer some of the questions  because we...
