Week 66: Jojos Baptism!!!!!!

On monday I had my very first zone p day ( yes my first one ) and it was so fun. Since we are in a new mission we have new rules so we all got together and it was fun. We played volleyball and made churipan!! It was fun to get to know everyone.

Fun not fun stuff:
Our mission hours have changes. we now wake up 6:30 instead of 7:00 i wanted to die the first day but after that it was fine also we only get 30 minutes to shower and get ready for bed but theres 5 of us and we have to heat our water to shower so its been rough but we are surviving.

I lost my voice for 2 days and sounded like a man for most of the week. The cold weather has not been kind to me.

Also I recieved myplan so i guess that means i am offically dying ( iykyk )

Fun stuff:
We had interviews with presient. Wow it was such a good interview we spent the most part of it talking about my personal study of the book of mormon and it was super cool. We talked about the progress of Hermana Ballam in her training and talked about my progress as a missionary. It was super sweet and i felt so loved. We talked about my area monteros and he seems to be really interested in our small little part of argentina and so i have hope that this area will stay open.

Our friends:

The two Lucas's: lucas 1 his testimony is growing and growing and his baptism is set for this Sunday!! If all works out which it will he will be baptized. Lucas 2 is the son of an inactive member and we visited his mom once and reacitvated her and her son Lucas hasnt been baptized so we have been talking with him and he will be baptized along with the other Lucas on Sunday!!!

Jojos baptism:
Yes jojo ( Yoselin ) was baptized!!!! She is 8 and is the sweetest tiniest little girl ever. We had taught her in the past but we couldnt find where she lived until she moved into live with her aunt who is a member. Last sunday we went to her house and put her on date and in the same day her mom gave us her permission to baptize her and we taught her every single lesson in the span of 4 days and she remembered every commandment. She even remembered how old russell m Nelson is. We were so inpressed and so happy to see her make a covenant with the lord. The water was freezing ( like so cold because are fount is a swimming pool and we fill it with a hose ) but she was all smiles and it was just the sweetest baptism ever.

Branch saving update:

We are doing good. Jojos baptism really boosted the energy of the branch because its the first baptism that has happened in a long time so everyone is super anímated and excited!! We havent activated many members so thats a little stressful but since we will be recieving transfers this week it will tell us if the branch is closing or not. I think itll stay open but thats just my opinión. Keep monteros in your prayers.

Los amo todos
