Week 78: Bautismo De Bruno Y Samuel, Conferencia General

Hola hola 

Lets get into it 

On monday we had a very chill day because it was argentinas labor day so everything was closed. After our work time ended we got in our feels and had an hour of drowning our sorrows in ice cream. It was a good bounding time but we devoured that ice cream so fast.

Tuesday: had such a good lesson with Samuel and he finally agreed to be baptized!!! I had been fighting him for weeks and he finally accepted. We had a really good lesson and he got all sassy and told me to stop trying to change plans but in the end he agreed and we were so so excited for him. I just know how much baptism is going to bless him and he has been so ready for weeks now. We ended up walking a ton in melting temperatures it was so hot but we had a really cute lesson with Luis and we made him laugh so that made me happy to see him with a smile. 

Wednesday: we had a chill day Samuel passed his interview and we knocked a lot of doors and met a guy dancing on the street. He was cool and a little strange and we invited him to our weekly mate activity!! We met a girl and she said I looked 25. the comment literally has been stuck in my head im not that old I swear!! We approached a man and his wife moving stones and we offered them help and the man wad SO mean screaming at us and his wife is like " they asked if we needed help" and the man looked at us so ashamed and walked away. Let’s just say he left me and hermana Osmond a little teary eyed because he was so mean. Later we made chocolate popcorn and devored it in seconds it was super yummy. 

Thursday: had the funnest lesson with Samuel where he ended up giving my hair a little trim. he literally cut nothing jaja but it was super funny and a lot of fun. But dont worry i trust him hes a barber.

Saturday- sunday: General Conference!!!! Wow i love conference so much i feel spiritually uplifted and rejuvinated. While walking home a hypi stopped us sung me a song and offered me a rock when I took it his son appeared out of no where and told me the rock represented love and devotion. ooops my but the rock was pretty 

Story of Bruno: ok so Bruno is a joint District baptism because we all taught him. He lives in the STLs area but they only taught him on Thursday nights when he came to the mate party but he never wanted to he baptized like refused the subject so the stls dumped him on us so they could talk to other people so me and my companion hermana Ballam always got stuck teaching him and answering his questions. He was so critical and so like ugh to teach but we wanted to help our STLs out so every thursday we talked and taught him. One day while on divisiones he finally said that if we never mention Joseph Smith he would be baptized and it was just a wow moment for me because he has never ever. E.V.E.R said that he would be baptized but he was. Our DLs companion baptized him and its the only picture he allowed us to take. 

Story of Samuel: ok so Samuel was a refernce from someone we found on the street he yold us he had a friend who needed to believe in something. So we texted Samuel and went to visit him. He had so many different believes and claimed himself to be buddhist. After long lessons and many attempts to get him to accept a baptism date he told us no repeatedly. He had a problem with drugs and alcohol but without even learning of the word of wisdom he was stopping on his own. On tuesday of this week we went into the lesson prepared to drop him we sit down and he tells us that its been a whole 10 days since smoking and drinking. I was so proud of him and told him that he is ready for baptim this week and to my shock he said yes!! His story is a 8 week process of true commitment to follow our savior. I am so proud of him!! 

Conference was good I definitely recommend it.

Also hermana Ballam is leaving she is going to a different area but im still with hna Osmond

Week 76: 17 Months, Hotter Than Mars And ITS SPRING!!!

Whatttttttt i cant believe I am at 17 months ! Monday we did a district Pday in the Mountains. It sounds all nice and dandy but it wasnt. The ride up was twisty and we were in this old bus that tilted off the side of the cliff everytime we turned. We saw a 100 foot tall virgin statue and then a few yards away this minsicule jesus statue that you had to squint to see ( argentinas sure got her priorities straight here ) It was over 100 degrees and dusty. We hiked and ate asado which was the best part. I felt like angelia in the office when I said the music was too loud. On my behalf we couldnt hear eaxh other and had to ScReAm to speak.  Anways we ended up getting stuck in the Mountain because we missed the bus twice but it was fine because we ended up playing Catan i was partnered with elder Heredia and we won. and we drank mate you know theres nothing like sharing the same drink and straw between 8 missionaries as a bonding exercise. we love a good mateada. Week 77: Trio Life…Again

Tuesday: we had a good day we picked up the Hermana Osmond from the terminal and got everything organized and we went to work we put 3 people on date for baptism so awesome and we have just been having a blast together. I am back to sleeping on the floor. With three of us sharing a room theres not enough beds so I am on the floor but I offered.  It will make me appreciate my bed at home all the more.  so right now i am kinda training not training both hermana Osmond and Hermana Ballam have just gotten out of their training and i am here to see how they will do on their own without me president literally called me personally and told me i am a glorified babysitter for the next 3 weeks itll be fun they are awesome i have enjoyed it so far . Wednesday: we put Samuel back on date for baptism so that was awesome!! For lunch we ate with a member and they pulled voka out of the fridge and poured me a glass best water ever. Week 22: A Cruel Joke And Lautaros Baptism!!!!!!!

Muy buenos dias bienvenidos a una otra semana!  Bueno this week was good on Monday me and Hermana Braatz wondered into a Catholic Mass where we got really wierd looks. It was a very peaceful experience we also saw some one get shushed by a priest and it was really funny we had to leave before we laughed to loud.  Thursday: our district leaders played a CRUEL joke on us. In the afternoon we waited patiently to recieve a call saying the Lautaro passed his baptism interview and at 4:30 or so we recieved a text from the Elders saying that they needed to talk to us about Lautaro because he failed his interview. We freaked out trying to call them sent texts and they werent responding so we trecked the 40 minute walk to Lautaros house and knocked on his door determined to find out what happened his sister answered and said that he had left because he failed the interview and we asked about what had happened and she told us that he couldnt answer some of the questions  because we...
