Week 77: Trio Life…Again

Tuesday: we had a good day we picked up the Hermana Osmond from the terminal and got everything organized and we went to work we put 3 people on date for baptism so awesome and we have just been having a blast together. I am back to sleeping on the floor. With three of us sharing a room theres not enough beds so I am on the floor but I offered. It will make me appreciate my bed at home all the more. so right now i am kinda training not training both hermana Osmond and Hermana Ballam have just gotten out of their training and i am here to see how they will do on their own without me president literally called me personally and told me i am a glorified babysitter for the next 3 weeks itll be fun they are awesome i have enjoyed it so far.


Wednesday: we put Samuel back on date for baptism so that was awesome!! For lunch we ate with a member and they pulled voka out of the fridge and poured me a glass best water ever. Later while we were out and about this guy calls out to us in english and normally when a scary looking guy screams at you in the dark you walk away but hes not screaming in Spanish hes screaming in English and im all say less so i stop turn around and had a very lovely conversation with him he seemed to be bearing something but we dont ask those kinds of personal questions here.

Thursday: we had a good lesson with Samuel, me and him got into a goofy little conversation about the word of wisdom he is so frustrating but sooo funny to teach I. Love. It. he literally told me that eating fruit was bad. i was like wHaT?? He literally was like " yeah it’s bad because it has sugar". Im not going to lie I laughed in his face and couldnt stop because it was so funny i was just so confused. And we got into the most hilarious argument ever. I was dYiNg of laughter and my companions were sitting there all confused like.. they had no idea what was happening it was one of the top 10 arguments Ive had because it was successful in the end he understood. Later we had our weekly ward mate party it was fun I had a blast talking to everyone. I ended up in a 20 minute conversation with elder Diaz one of my zone leaders and me and my companion hermana Osmond were rolling with laughter it was so funny because we were sharing crazy mission stories and wow missions be crazy for everyone like what did I experience. it was insane and so fun!! 

Friday: we had a fire day lots of lessons and we worked so hard. We had such an amazing lesson with Luis and man he makes me so sad but I love that we get to help him and help him find gods love. He is so sweet and just so pure. Also it was so hot I have a massive Farmer tan that you wouldnt believe. But it was a good day. 

Saturday: a good 90 something degress out side so fun. We did a fun hour of service cleaning our argetine moms house it was the strangest thing she literally brought in the house and just started hosing it down. but other than that my day was chill lots of visits and lots of just strange things. 

Luis: a refernce who has a baptism date he is 20 and just a sweet sweet soul, he is having a really hard go at life right now so please pray for him

Samuel: he is back ( yeah I know ) we cant seem to get rid of him. He is chillin. Still so frustrating to teach but im kinda over it because he still isnt do the básics like reading or praying so its been a battle digamos

Week 76: 17 Months, Hotter Than Mars And ITS SPRING!!!

Whatttttttt i cant believe I am at 17 months ! Monday we did a district Pday in the Mountains. It sounds all nice and dandy but it wasnt. The ride up was twisty and we were in this old bus that tilted off the side of the cliff everytime we turned. We saw a 100 foot tall virgin statue and then a few yards away this minsicule jesus statue that you had to squint to see ( argentinas sure got her priorities straight here ) It was over 100 degrees and dusty. We hiked and ate asado which was the best part. I felt like angelia in the office when I said the music was too loud. On my behalf we couldnt hear eaxh other and had to ScReAm to speak.  Anways we ended up getting stuck in the Mountain because we missed the bus twice but it was fine because we ended up playing Catan i was partnered with elder Heredia and we won. and we drank mate you know theres nothing like sharing the same drink and straw between 8 missionaries as a bonding exercise. we love a good mateada. Week 22: A Cruel Joke And Lautaros Baptism!!!!!!!

Muy buenos dias bienvenidos a una otra semana!  Bueno this week was good on Monday me and Hermana Braatz wondered into a Catholic Mass where we got really wierd looks. It was a very peaceful experience we also saw some one get shushed by a priest and it was really funny we had to leave before we laughed to loud.  Thursday: our district leaders played a CRUEL joke on us. In the afternoon we waited patiently to recieve a call saying the Lautaro passed his baptism interview and at 4:30 or so we recieved a text from the Elders saying that they needed to talk to us about Lautaro because he failed his interview. We freaked out trying to call them sent texts and they werent responding so we trecked the 40 minute walk to Lautaros house and knocked on his door determined to find out what happened his sister answered and said that he had left because he failed the interview and we asked about what had happened and she told us that he couldnt answer some of the questions  because we...
