Week 60: Frustrating Amigos

Hola hola, buenos días!!! 


So this week was super fast i cant really
remember what happened. 


Gabriela: we had a really good lesson with gabriela on tuesday and she told us some tuff stuff that shes going through we are not sure how to help her but we just invited her to pray and to fast with us this sunday we kind of had to  bajar la caña about her love life jajaj and she started crying, but she said she was going to do it so a wins a win I guess. She is super awesome but shes a little off and on about recieving us and its been a little frustrating because little miss doesnt live so close and we have to walk a ton and everytime we get there she doesnt answer the door. But its been good she ended up coming to church with her son who has 8 years old and she really enoyed it. She is one more step closer to getting baptized!!!


Rafael: ESTA CHICO I swear youth today are so frustrating, back story Rafael is the son of our branch president and boy was it hard telling him that his son is rejecting every phone call. Rafael keeps coming to church, keeps coming to the activities and wants to go to the temple dedication but he cant do that unless hes a member. But everytime we try to talk to him he ignores us and we confirm our appointments and he then tells us he doesnt have time. He also didnt come to church so we have offically stopped teaching him.  but man o man this boy is frustrating. 


On sunday we had to give a training for the members about working together in the mission work and we lowkey bajó la caña and told them to be better and work with us. We did it with love and encouragement but it was actually super good and the spirit was so strong and we really encouraged the members to feel more motivated to share the gospel. 


Hermana Cunha fell asleep during our 30 minute language study and it was super funny because she was out like a light and was just dead asleep. I took a picture and laughed jajaja. 


Not sure what else to say because i forgot what happened this week but oh well. 


Oh so this week i learn if I am being reasigned to the new mission Tucuman or if I am staying salta! So we are just in a waiting game now!!!

Week 76: 17 Months, Hotter Than Mars And ITS SPRING!!!

Whatttttttt i cant believe I am at 17 months ! Monday we did a district Pday in the Mountains. It sounds all nice and dandy but it wasnt. The ride up was twisty and we were in this old bus that tilted off the side of the cliff everytime we turned. We saw a 100 foot tall virgin statue and then a few yards away this minsicule jesus statue that you had to squint to see ( argentinas sure got her priorities straight here ) It was over 100 degrees and dusty. We hiked and ate asado which was the best part. I felt like angelia in the office when I said the music was too loud. On my behalf we couldnt hear eaxh other and had to ScReAm to speak.  Anways we ended up getting stuck in the Mountain because we missed the bus twice but it was fine because we ended up playing Catan i was partnered with elder Heredia and we won. and we drank mate you know theres nothing like sharing the same drink and straw between 8 missionaries as a bonding exercise. we love a good mateada. Week 77: Trio Life…Again

Tuesday: we had a good day we picked up the Hermana Osmond from the terminal and got everything organized and we went to work we put 3 people on date for baptism so awesome and we have just been having a blast together. I am back to sleeping on the floor. With three of us sharing a room theres not enough beds so I am on the floor but I offered.  It will make me appreciate my bed at home all the more.  so right now i am kinda training not training both hermana Osmond and Hermana Ballam have just gotten out of their training and i am here to see how they will do on their own without me president literally called me personally and told me i am a glorified babysitter for the next 3 weeks itll be fun they are awesome i have enjoyed it so far . Wednesday: we put Samuel back on date for baptism so that was awesome!! For lunch we ate with a member and they pulled voka out of the fridge and poured me a glass best water ever. Week 22: A Cruel Joke And Lautaros Baptism!!!!!!!

Muy buenos dias bienvenidos a una otra semana!  Bueno this week was good on Monday me and Hermana Braatz wondered into a Catholic Mass where we got really wierd looks. It was a very peaceful experience we also saw some one get shushed by a priest and it was really funny we had to leave before we laughed to loud.  Thursday: our district leaders played a CRUEL joke on us. In the afternoon we waited patiently to recieve a call saying the Lautaro passed his baptism interview and at 4:30 or so we recieved a text from the Elders saying that they needed to talk to us about Lautaro because he failed his interview. We freaked out trying to call them sent texts and they werent responding so we trecked the 40 minute walk to Lautaros house and knocked on his door determined to find out what happened his sister answered and said that he had left because he failed the interview and we asked about what had happened and she told us that he couldnt answer some of the questions  because we...
