Week 55: Injury, Blessed By A Catholic And On The News

Welcome back I will get right to it and we have transfers today I will be traveling to... no where jajaj we didnt get transfer news this week but we will be getting it in the next few days

So last P day ( monday ) I took my companion the Hermana Lazarte to Purmamarca!! It was fun we found llamas and took some pretty fun pictures.

️Warning grafic discription up ahead ️
On wednesday we had a very good lesson with abigail and invited her to move her baptism date to this saturday she told us she would pray about out and we left feeling very confident that it would happen.( it didnt ) On our walk home my sandle broke in half ( not kidding) like in half I couldnt save it. Soo... ( sorry mom ) but I had to walk the 4 miles walk home bare foot ( on one foot only ) To make it worse I am in Argentina so they dont have paved side walks just dirt and trash and glass fun stuff like that but i made it home without cutting my foot but... as I was walking up our death trap also called stairs I tripped and felt pain in me left foot ( foot that had the shoe ) so I walked in side and went to wash my foot. I put my foot in the water and felt a pain that i hadnt felt since my brother broke my finger jaja. Turns out I cut my big toe REALLY bad and we couldnt get it to stop bleeding ( like it took a while ) But good thing Hermana Lazarte has a 20 pound firstaid kit and we got it to stop ( barely ) and got it all wrapped up. I did not sleep that night because I was in so much pain and the wound still hasnt closed and its been a few days but its getting better. Also i am infection free.

Getting blessed:
On thursday we helped the Hermana Miranda make dinner she had friends come over and it was fun until her friend hugged me goodbye drew a cross on my back and gave me a blessing after the hug she held my face drew a cross on my forehead then drew a cross in the air in front of me and she said " you are blessed and will know the true light one day"  she then did it to my companion. Lets just say we felt wierd and I mean wierd walking home we just didnt feel good. But now its all fine and we feel normal but we just felt the obsense of the spirit and it shook us up for a bit. It was a kind gester but still not a good feeling.

Zone conference/public shaming:
So we had zone conference and it was good until our mission president starting public shaming us jajaja. He had our zone leaders present to him our problems in the zone and he shot down EVERY. SINGLE. IDEA. And shamed us for our lack of success. I felt so bad for them it was a like a shark tank episode gone wrong. It was funny at first but then it wasnt jajaja. Our poor zone leaders they deserved an ice cream or something after that experience jajaja. But at least he told us we were his best missionaries in the mission.

So me and my companion made it onto the news twice. Now you might be wondering how but one day we were walking and we walked past a camera crew filiming a guy for the local new station. We casually walked past and didnt thibk much of it until later when we visted a member he said he saw us on the news, the very next day we were walking to lunch and passed the same camera crew filming another guy but this time we embraced the oportunity and did a little wave smile jajaj the same member texted us and told us we were on the local news again.

If all goes well this week we will be baptizing our friend Abigail so please pray for her!!!!

This week is the first week of the temple open house in Salta I am super excited because as hermanas we get to work at it. Should be fun!!!
