Week 53: Stuck At Home

On monday we met a literal crazy lady heres the story: we went to visit a recent convert named Miguel he is old and lives with a bunch of other old people. Well we went to visit him and this lady answers and goes looking for him mean while another lady shows up and starts talking to us but literally got mad at us grabbed the bars of the door and started shaking it screaming. I was scared thinking she might die of over excursion or something she then stops, opens the door/gate and tells us to come in we say that its ok and we will wait outside for Miguel but she gets mad again and goes " COME.IN." We tell her no again and she literally makes a cutting gester across her neck and looks very angrly at us. I was literally about to leave but thankfully Miguel showed up and saved us. 


On Tuesday we got caught in a rain storm and got really wet so that was an aventure.


Wednesday we had a really really powerful lesson with a past friend abigail. The spirit was so strong and she accepted a baptism date. We kept testifying of the love christ has for her. I think she felt that love because she asked us about baptism and how it worked. She is on date for the 4th of may but we think she'll be ready on the 27th.


Thusday-Saturday hermana Lazarte was sick with the flu so we were confined to our apartment I lowkey was going crazy and I just hate not going out to work but thanks to technology I was able to make a ton of phone calls. Another bonus was I was able to deep clean our apartment ( i found literal mold in our air vent and our floor is molding off jajaj mission life am I right. ) 


Its getting cold here. The truth is its really not i am jut use to 110 degree weather and it literally 70 degrees with clouds and I was cold so I literally wore a sweater and my winter coat. Its only 70 but we are now in winter coat season. The weather literally went from 110 to 70 within a week not a smooth transition but oh well.

Week 76: 17 Months, Hotter Than Mars And ITS SPRING!!!

Whatttttttt i cant believe I am at 17 months ! Monday we did a district Pday in the Mountains. It sounds all nice and dandy but it wasnt. The ride up was twisty and we were in this old bus that tilted off the side of the cliff everytime we turned. We saw a 100 foot tall virgin statue and then a few yards away this minsicule jesus statue that you had to squint to see ( argentinas sure got her priorities straight here ) It was over 100 degrees and dusty. We hiked and ate asado which was the best part. I felt like angelia in the office when I said the music was too loud. On my behalf we couldnt hear eaxh other and had to ScReAm to speak.  Anways we ended up getting stuck in the Mountain because we missed the bus twice but it was fine because we ended up playing Catan i was partnered with elder Heredia and we won. and we drank mate you know theres nothing like sharing the same drink and straw between 8 missionaries as a bonding exercise. we love a good mateada. Week 77: Trio Life…Again

Tuesday: we had a good day we picked up the Hermana Osmond from the terminal and got everything organized and we went to work we put 3 people on date for baptism so awesome and we have just been having a blast together. I am back to sleeping on the floor. With three of us sharing a room theres not enough beds so I am on the floor but I offered.  It will make me appreciate my bed at home all the more.  so right now i am kinda training not training both hermana Osmond and Hermana Ballam have just gotten out of their training and i am here to see how they will do on their own without me president literally called me personally and told me i am a glorified babysitter for the next 3 weeks itll be fun they are awesome i have enjoyed it so far . Wednesday: we put Samuel back on date for baptism so that was awesome!! For lunch we ate with a member and they pulled voka out of the fridge and poured me a glass best water ever. Week 22: A Cruel Joke And Lautaros Baptism!!!!!!!

Muy buenos dias bienvenidos a una otra semana!  Bueno this week was good on Monday me and Hermana Braatz wondered into a Catholic Mass where we got really wierd looks. It was a very peaceful experience we also saw some one get shushed by a priest and it was really funny we had to leave before we laughed to loud.  Thursday: our district leaders played a CRUEL joke on us. In the afternoon we waited patiently to recieve a call saying the Lautaro passed his baptism interview and at 4:30 or so we recieved a text from the Elders saying that they needed to talk to us about Lautaro because he failed his interview. We freaked out trying to call them sent texts and they werent responding so we trecked the 40 minute walk to Lautaros house and knocked on his door determined to find out what happened his sister answered and said that he had left because he failed the interview and we asked about what had happened and she told us that he couldnt answer some of the questions  because we...
