Week 50: Birthday And My First Baby

Ok wow what a crazy week!! 


Lets start with tuesday: ok so I was put in a temporary trio with hermanas Wright and Braatz and we worked in perico and it was so fun! We had lunch with a member and her very and I mean VERY Catholic mother. It was so funny because it was a holdiay celebrating a one of their Saints and we had lots of questions and her house is full of crazy Catholic things but right in the middle of it all there was a picture of Jospeh smith even she said she was a crazy Catholic and that even with her " Ejército de santos" we are always welcomed in her house. She was super sweet and we had an awesome conversation with her and it was super cool to learn more about the catholic church. 


Wednesday: we left super early in the morning to travel to Chijra about 40 minutes away from Perico and we worked there all day. 


Thursday: MY BIRTHDAY!!! ( thanks all of yoh who sent me birthday wishes )  I was sick jajaja I had a bad stomach ache and had to travel 3 hours in a bus to Salta ( did not help my illness ) we got there and went to our training meeting. It was super good. Hermana Janzen told me to go to an eye doctor because aparently blurry vision is bad jajaja. So I get to make an eye appointment to get my eyes tested. We spent the night in an apartment that belonged to some Elders and oh my gosh it was like they never heard the word " clean" it was a dump but oh well we slept anyways. 


Friday: my new companion arrived fresco from the MTC her name is Hermana Lazarte she is from Utah but her parents are from argentina so shes half latino. She is super awesome and literally so sweet. 


Saturday: They split my area but they gave me the responsability to divide it. I got a call from the APs telling me to divide it. I felt bad because my area is wanky there was really no good way to divide it so I literally put a line through the middle of the map and sent it to the APs to approve and they approved it. 


On sunday we had two friends come to church René and Abigail!!! Things are looking up and are progressing well. Rene has a baptism date for abril 6th so we are working a lot with him to help him prepare. Abigail is progressing but very slowly we want to put her on date this week so pray for her and Rene por favor!!!!

Week 76: 17 Months, Hotter Than Mars And ITS SPRING!!!

Whatttttttt i cant believe I am at 17 months ! Monday we did a district Pday in the Mountains. It sounds all nice and dandy but it wasnt. The ride up was twisty and we were in this old bus that tilted off the side of the cliff everytime we turned. We saw a 100 foot tall virgin statue and then a few yards away this minsicule jesus statue that you had to squint to see ( argentinas sure got her priorities straight here ) It was over 100 degrees and dusty. We hiked and ate asado which was the best part. I felt like angelia in the office when I said the music was too loud. On my behalf we couldnt hear eaxh other and had to ScReAm to speak.  Anways we ended up getting stuck in the Mountain because we missed the bus twice but it was fine because we ended up playing Catan i was partnered with elder Heredia and we won. and we drank mate you know theres nothing like sharing the same drink and straw between 8 missionaries as a bonding exercise. we love a good mateada. Week 77: Trio Life…Again

Tuesday: we had a good day we picked up the Hermana Osmond from the terminal and got everything organized and we went to work we put 3 people on date for baptism so awesome and we have just been having a blast together. I am back to sleeping on the floor. With three of us sharing a room theres not enough beds so I am on the floor but I offered.  It will make me appreciate my bed at home all the more.  so right now i am kinda training not training both hermana Osmond and Hermana Ballam have just gotten out of their training and i am here to see how they will do on their own without me president literally called me personally and told me i am a glorified babysitter for the next 3 weeks itll be fun they are awesome i have enjoyed it so far . Wednesday: we put Samuel back on date for baptism so that was awesome!! For lunch we ate with a member and they pulled voka out of the fridge and poured me a glass best water ever. Week 22: A Cruel Joke And Lautaros Baptism!!!!!!!

Muy buenos dias bienvenidos a una otra semana!  Bueno this week was good on Monday me and Hermana Braatz wondered into a Catholic Mass where we got really wierd looks. It was a very peaceful experience we also saw some one get shushed by a priest and it was really funny we had to leave before we laughed to loud.  Thursday: our district leaders played a CRUEL joke on us. In the afternoon we waited patiently to recieve a call saying the Lautaro passed his baptism interview and at 4:30 or so we recieved a text from the Elders saying that they needed to talk to us about Lautaro because he failed his interview. We freaked out trying to call them sent texts and they werent responding so we trecked the 40 minute walk to Lautaros house and knocked on his door determined to find out what happened his sister answered and said that he had left because he failed the interview and we asked about what had happened and she told us that he couldnt answer some of the questions  because we...
