Week 48: Every Day Struggles

Back with another update!! I want to start off by saying how much I love the mission. Its honestly so great even though its challenging but I am loving it so much!!!

This week was actually so slow jajaja but really good.

During one of our lunches literally everyone was roasting me because I always eat the most like 2-3 plates of food and I always pause and go " oh bueno un poquito más " after every plate when they offer me more. And they kept roasting me about it and to make it worse we were on exchanges and my past companion Hermana Braatz is my stl and she just added fire to the flame so that was fun. But I havent laughed so hard in a while so it was good.

Thursday literally almost peeded my pants in the street because I had to go to the bathroom so bad and we were at a 30 minute walking distance from our apartment and the church and no one was answering the door I literally couldnt walk and Hermana Souza kept making me laugh I thought I was dying but... I survived because Hermana Pacecho is awesome and let me use her bathroom

We went to a relief society activity to celebrate nacional womens day and it was so fun I laughed a ton and it was a good hour to spend getting to know some members. Also they didnt give me a fork for my cake so I had to eat with my hands ( see photo below )

Saturday was one of the hotest days of my mission and we literally had to run so that we wouldnt be late to our lunch appointment and literally every street here is just rocks so we were rolling our ankles and getting chased by dogs but we made it only 10 minutes late so thats a win. But running in almost 43 degrees celcius fun for no one

Sunday was well really depressing I woke up feeling a little strange the feeling worsened when we did our morning calls and no one answered almost cried when our new family didnt come to church because it meant we had to stop teaching them. Hermana Souza literally almost passed out then was in a grumpy mood but we love her anyways jajaj So all in all we are back with 0 people to teach I am so frustrated like its not that hard to come to church AaAaHhHhGgGg so back to ground 0. Our Ward mission lider is a recient convert and he made us asado for lunch and wow it was so good I think he felt bad for how much we are struggling right now so he and his family cooked us asado jajaja.

Today for P day we are traveling to Purmamarca and if you have no idea what that is its ok if youve heard of the hills of 14 colors thats were we are going. I am super excited!! But dont worry I will tell you all about it next week and ill send pictures.

Los amo a todos
