Week 37: FELIZ NAVIDAD

FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!!!! wow I cant believe its christmas how crazy!!!

Ok so our christmas conference was super spiritual and definelty brought the spirit of christmas into our lives. I ended up playing the violin as a musical number jajaja it was a little random. We played a fun little game put together by our mission president and ate some yummy asado. It was fun to talk to lots of the missionaries and just have a good time. The travel back to jujuy was super long like 5 hours long. It rained and all the streets are dirt here in jujuy and so it was super flooded and there were a lot of land slide type problems.

On Tuesday I was finally feeling better from my sickness of last week and so we went back to work. I did just fine until the afternoon when my fever returned and we had to return home. Spent the rest of the day in bed. I woke up at about 2 in the morning in the most pain I think I have ever felt in my stomach. I was sobbing and a member drove us to the emergency room. They told us to return to the hospital to do some tests. The pain soon passed and we returned home. We returned to the hospital were they took a blood test and an ultrasound. I was exhausted and frustrated and just wanted to go home and cry. But we had return to the hospital the next day for the test result. Turns out I had an infection in my stomach and intestines so I am now on antibiotics but I am all better.

Our apartment every morning has a ton of little cocroches running around so its really gross but we wake up every morning with like 20 just running around and we chase then and kill them.

Ok so on friday and Saturday I was actually able to work for the first time in my new area. Its really big but the members are incredible.

Church for christmas eve was good. As a christmas present our mission president allowed us to eat dinner with a member and we didnt have to go home until 10 so bishop Padilla invited us over and we ate really freakin good food and ice cream. We sang songs and just talked. It was super fun! Later me and my companion ate ice cream cake in our pajamas and chilled.

For christmas today I will be opening a christmas package and will make sugar cookies and my companion is going to make some christmas bread! We have plans to eat lunch with some members but they said they might be out of town so we dont know but its stormy and raining outside so we might not leave our apartment from fear of being hit by a lightening bolt.

I hope you all have a great christmas full of lots of love and that you all remember our lord and savior Jesus Christ!!

FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!!
LOS AMO A TODOS MUCHÍSIMO
