Week 35: Last Week In Vicente Solá

This week was another fast one. 


I got REALLY sunburnt on friday like really bad in the night I realized that my whole neck had blistered :/


We have been working hard with Luben the sister of Luciano and she is so sweet and kind. We invited her to be baptized and she accpeted the only thing is we havent set a date but its coming. We decided to try one more week with Lucianos cousin Ignacio only because he keeps coming to church we have decided that if he doesnt accpet a baptism date this week we might drop him. 


Well we recieved a lovely call this week telling me that after 5 months in Vicente Solá my time here has come to an end and its time to go to Perico which is in Jujuy I am super excited because it'll be my second providence out of four and the goal is to go to all. My new companions name is Hermana Cunha she is from Brazil and I get to meet her on Tuesday because thats when I am leaving. 


Saying goodbye was super hard. I gave my goodbye testimony in sacrament meeting and I left everyone in tears no literally the bishop and everyone was crying including me jajaja. Luciano made me this cool 3D flower as a goodbye gift which was super sweet and it broke a little in my bag but its fine jajaja. And also so Hermana Lemos didnt feel left out he made us a key chain with our names but the question is why he used my first name and not my last like he did for Hermana Lemos jajaja.


Today for Pday we decided to go the temple with Kiara, Luciano and Ignacio. It was super fun we couldnt go inside the grounds but we sat outside, ate oreos and talked it was super fun. 


I learned a lot in my time in Vicente Solá this area and the people have changed my life in a way I wasnt expecting and I am so so grateful for all the friends I made I am going to miss them so much. Words really cant express how grateful I am for these amzing friends I made. But I know its time to move on and meet the people in Perico.

Week 76: 17 Months, Hotter Than Mars And ITS SPRING!!!

Whatttttttt i cant believe I am at 17 months ! Monday we did a district Pday in the Mountains. It sounds all nice and dandy but it wasnt. The ride up was twisty and we were in this old bus that tilted off the side of the cliff everytime we turned. We saw a 100 foot tall virgin statue and then a few yards away this minsicule jesus statue that you had to squint to see ( argentinas sure got her priorities straight here ) It was over 100 degrees and dusty. We hiked and ate asado which was the best part. I felt like angelia in the office when I said the music was too loud. On my behalf we couldnt hear eaxh other and had to ScReAm to speak.  Anways we ended up getting stuck in the Mountain because we missed the bus twice but it was fine because we ended up playing Catan i was partnered with elder Heredia and we won. and we drank mate you know theres nothing like sharing the same drink and straw between 8 missionaries as a bonding exercise. we love a good mateada. Week 77: Trio Life…Again

Tuesday: we had a good day we picked up the Hermana Osmond from the terminal and got everything organized and we went to work we put 3 people on date for baptism so awesome and we have just been having a blast together. I am back to sleeping on the floor. With three of us sharing a room theres not enough beds so I am on the floor but I offered.  It will make me appreciate my bed at home all the more.  so right now i am kinda training not training both hermana Osmond and Hermana Ballam have just gotten out of their training and i am here to see how they will do on their own without me president literally called me personally and told me i am a glorified babysitter for the next 3 weeks itll be fun they are awesome i have enjoyed it so far . Wednesday: we put Samuel back on date for baptism so that was awesome!! For lunch we ate with a member and they pulled voka out of the fridge and poured me a glass best water ever. Week 22: A Cruel Joke And Lautaros Baptism!!!!!!!

Muy buenos dias bienvenidos a una otra semana!  Bueno this week was good on Monday me and Hermana Braatz wondered into a Catholic Mass where we got really wierd looks. It was a very peaceful experience we also saw some one get shushed by a priest and it was really funny we had to leave before we laughed to loud.  Thursday: our district leaders played a CRUEL joke on us. In the afternoon we waited patiently to recieve a call saying the Lautaro passed his baptism interview and at 4:30 or so we recieved a text from the Elders saying that they needed to talk to us about Lautaro because he failed his interview. We freaked out trying to call them sent texts and they werent responding so we trecked the 40 minute walk to Lautaros house and knocked on his door determined to find out what happened his sister answered and said that he had left because he failed the interview and we asked about what had happened and she told us that he couldnt answer some of the questions  because we...
