Week 30: The Great Flood

I want to start my email by addressing some suprising news we recived this week that is going to change the mission. 
Here it is... they are dividing our mission thats means that they are taking the provinces Tucuman and Santiago and making a new mission Tucuman Argentina which will consist of Tucuman, Santiago del estero and part of the Córdoba mission. The Salta misson will now consist of only Salta and Jujuy! (this wont happen until next year)
How crazy is that news! 


Halloween was pretty fun! It was just a normal work day but at night a ton of kids had dressed up and attempted to go tricker treating it was a little pathetic because not everyone was doing it so when they knocked on the doors they didnt recieve anything jajaja. But Me and Hermana Martinez attempted to teach Hermana Lemos and Hermana De Angelo how to carve "pumpkins" it was pretty funny because Hermana Lemos started carving the "pumpkin" without gutting it and Hermana De Angelo almost cut her "pumpkin" in half when carving the face but it was a lot of fun! 


We are still working with Adrian Exequiel and his baptism is this Saturday so pray for him!!! Hes amazing!!! We are also trying to start to teach his sister Galilea!!! 


Guess whose back...CESAR!!!! Well if you remember we stopped teaching him because he wasnt coming to church but he  was reading the book of mormon well on Tuesday he drove by us and told us to come by later so we did and talked to him about the importance of coming to church and it must of spoken to him because he came to church jajaja. 


Now for the title of the email!! We had been having some problems with our sink for some time but it was always just miner little leeks so we didnt worry to much about it until Wednsay when our apartment flooded. Its a good thing the person in charge of our apartment lives in my area and we are besties so when we called him at 7 in the morning he came right over to fix it! He also decided to fix everything broken in the apartment which is like literally everything jajaja so we now have hot water but on the down side it also resulted in him taking our so called "washing machine" because 
1. It doesnt clean clothes it kinda just moves them around in water for 2 hours 
2. Doesnt spin most of the time 
3. When it does spin it doesnt stop 
4. Sometimes the door wouldnt open and you had to bang it a few times until you could pry it open and retrieve your clothes 
So this week and until further notice we have gone back in time and started washing our clothes by hand its a good thing we already had a washing board and some rocks. We already air dry our clothes so we are full blown pioneers now.  


We have stopped teaching Anibal because well a few things happened so we stopped teaching him jajaja. 


A pretty good week!

Week 76: 17 Months, Hotter Than Mars And ITS SPRING!!!

Whatttttttt i cant believe I am at 17 months ! Monday we did a district Pday in the Mountains. It sounds all nice and dandy but it wasnt. The ride up was twisty and we were in this old bus that tilted off the side of the cliff everytime we turned. We saw a 100 foot tall virgin statue and then a few yards away this minsicule jesus statue that you had to squint to see ( argentinas sure got her priorities straight here ) It was over 100 degrees and dusty. We hiked and ate asado which was the best part. I felt like angelia in the office when I said the music was too loud. On my behalf we couldnt hear eaxh other and had to ScReAm to speak.  Anways we ended up getting stuck in the Mountain because we missed the bus twice but it was fine because we ended up playing Catan i was partnered with elder Heredia and we won. and we drank mate you know theres nothing like sharing the same drink and straw between 8 missionaries as a bonding exercise. we love a good mateada. Week 77: Trio Life…Again

Tuesday: we had a good day we picked up the Hermana Osmond from the terminal and got everything organized and we went to work we put 3 people on date for baptism so awesome and we have just been having a blast together. I am back to sleeping on the floor. With three of us sharing a room theres not enough beds so I am on the floor but I offered.  It will make me appreciate my bed at home all the more.  so right now i am kinda training not training both hermana Osmond and Hermana Ballam have just gotten out of their training and i am here to see how they will do on their own without me president literally called me personally and told me i am a glorified babysitter for the next 3 weeks itll be fun they are awesome i have enjoyed it so far . Wednesday: we put Samuel back on date for baptism so that was awesome!! For lunch we ate with a member and they pulled voka out of the fridge and poured me a glass best water ever. Week 22: A Cruel Joke And Lautaros Baptism!!!!!!!

Muy buenos dias bienvenidos a una otra semana!  Bueno this week was good on Monday me and Hermana Braatz wondered into a Catholic Mass where we got really wierd looks. It was a very peaceful experience we also saw some one get shushed by a priest and it was really funny we had to leave before we laughed to loud.  Thursday: our district leaders played a CRUEL joke on us. In the afternoon we waited patiently to recieve a call saying the Lautaro passed his baptism interview and at 4:30 or so we recieved a text from the Elders saying that they needed to talk to us about Lautaro because he failed his interview. We freaked out trying to call them sent texts and they werent responding so we trecked the 40 minute walk to Lautaros house and knocked on his door determined to find out what happened his sister answered and said that he had left because he failed the interview and we asked about what had happened and she told us that he couldnt answer some of the questions  because we...
