Week 29: The Priesthood And The Chosen
Bom dia y Boa noite
You might be wondering the significance of that first sentence, well I am learning portugués from my companion hermana Lemos who is from Brazil so I will be coming home from the mission tri lengual
Anyways...Welcome back to another week! We had a pretty awesome week. Trabajamos un full!!!
On Tuesday night it was my turn to share the scripture in the oración de la mas and I started laughing because Hermana Wilden ( my past companion) her screen was pinned and was listening so intently and smiling so big that when I looked at the screen it was just her face so I started laughing and forgot everything I was going to say :/
We invited Adrian Exequiel to be baptized and he accepted with the most enthusiam ever and me and Hermana Lemos deeply believe he is a chosen and that he has been prepared to recieve this gospel for some time and we are the lucky ones to have been able to find him and teach him. God put him in our path and we are truely blessed! He came to church again and literally talked more than the members in sunday school and me and Hermana lemos are over the moon about his progress.
He also ( Adrian Exequiel) has been telling his friend about the church and on saturday we had a call with him his name is Nahuel and he came to church so we have lots of hope!!
Me and hermana Lemos had a proud mom moment jajaja because Luciano recieved the priesthood on sunday me and Hermana Lemos were able to sit in on the blessing and we were so proud of him and happy for him. #futuremissionary
We had a lesson with him later that day and asked how he felt and he asked Enzo (who came with us and is a member) when he could recieve the melkezick priesthood and me and Hermana lemos are just over the moon for him.
Lautaro also is going to recieve the priesthood next week!!!!!!!
On Friday we had zone conference and our area seventy, President Christensen came with his wife to speak to us. Not going to lie I was bored jajaja it was a 6 hour conference about how to work with the members ( which is all we do here ) and there was no air conditioning and we were all so hot and just not having it.
We had bigotes the neighborhood dog follow us around all day but every dog hates him so we ended up being chased by a few dogs and witnessed a dog almost murder another dog so that was fun.
Also happy Halloween!! People here dont really celebrate but they decorated some of the streets jajaj!
Thats all for this week!
Nos vemos
Los amo a todos!!
