Week 23: 5 Months
I am just going to start by saying that this week was one of the WORST weeks OF MY LIFE jajajaj.
On Tuesday we had zone conference it was really good I enjoy getting to talk to other missionaries and learning how to be a better missionary. During the conference were all given a lovely suprise... RABIES VACCINES!!!. I got REALLY sick after the conference like so sick and I have never vomited so much in my life I felt really bad for my companion if you've ever heard the term projectyle vomite thats what I did all over our floor. I didnt sleep at all because I was up all night throwing up :( The next morning my whole body was sore it hurt so bad to move and I couldnt keep anything down so I was really dehydrated my mission presidents wife told me to take it slow so my companion decided it was best to just work from home. We ended up leaving the apartment to go visit Lourdes who has a baptism date this week and she lives like 5 minutes away but it took about 20 minutes to walk there and by the time we got there I was so tired :( I felt like I was on deaths door step all day. Thursday was a little better I stopped throwing up but was still really tired and sore I told my companion I was fine but it was just a really long day. Friday I took a turn for the worse and felt so sick once again but we couldnt afford to miss another day without work we decided to stay in for the morning and work in the afternoon. Saturday was the same and since I hadnt thrown up in a few days we decided that I could work. My whole body feels uttlerly destroyed and everthing is uncomfortable my stomach will never be the same again. But sick or not the work has to continue even if your literally dying.
Update on our friends:
The baptism of Flavio fell through because he doesnt really understand us and his niece has to re translate everything so we dropped the date but we are still going to work with him because he has literally read the entire book of mormon he just gets bored during the lesson because he cant understand.
Lourdes is AWESOME!! her baptism is this Saturday the 23 and we are so excited!
Luciano is progressing but its so hard to contact him throughout the week it also didnt help that I got sick so hopefully this week is a little better jajaja. He came to church but was literally beat up/jumped on the way he showed up a little bloody but participated in class so that was cool.
Some elders in our mission gave us a reference his name is Cesar and oh my goodness he is reading the book of mormon and is already in 2 nephi and he is so nice hes an older guy but literally wow he is so awesome and wants so badly to understand everything and its so amazing!!
Los amo muchísimo!
