Week 14: 3 Meses Y Nueva Compañera
Hola hola!!!
Today I reached three months!!!!!!!!
Will this week there is nothing much to talk about I worked 3 days with Hermana Roselli ( my Italian bestie) it was sad saying goodbye but I have a new companion and trainer and guys I absoultey love her!!! She is the complete opposite of Hermana Labbé. Hermana Willden is loud, full of energy and has the most bubbly personality. Every day is just so much fun. She is such a hard worker and although she only has 5 months in the mission her Spanish is freakin incredible.
This week was really frustrating because our two baptisms fell through and I almost cried when Guadalupe said she didnt want to continue learning and didnt want to be baptized I was so sad because I had so much faith and love for her but we carry on I guess.
A little about my area: I have been serving in Metan these last 6 or so weeks and I am getting really frustrated because every day we teach the same people because we have no one to teach and we are not allowed to nock doors so we have to work through the members but they never give references and so every day is the same the same people, the same houses, the same doors being shut in our faces and the same insults its very discourging and frustrating. Me and Hermana Willden were feeling extremly frustrated and over all angry at the world because we have nothing LITERALLY NOTHING!! I swear we wanted to just quit and go home but you cant do that so stopped in the middle of the street and said a prayer in the hope to find someone. Well you know me and when I am discouraged and sad all I want to do is eat ice cream so we walked to the nearest shop and bought some. Well as we were buying we started talking to the worker and we invited her to church and she said yes. We felt pretty good until sunday came around and we were anxiously waiting by the door and she didnt show up so oh well I guess I need to buy more icecream to invite her again lol.
Also planeamiento semanal is going to be death of me. For those non missionaries once a week ( sunday for my mission ) we spend 3-4 hours planning the week, making goals, praying for every person and planning lessons for every person. I want to die every time especially this sunday because we got the list of members and we had to go through the entire list making notes and marking it up and since Hermana Willden is new in the area I did all of it because she doesnt know anything about the area and my head felt like it was going to explode. But sweet Hermana Villagomez let me drink her maté.
A success this week is I finally understand almost every lesson and almost every conversation. Of course there are words I dont understand but wow its much better but for the life of me I can't form the words to speak but now that I understand Spanish the mission is much more fun and exciting because I can finally follow lessons and conversations for the most part.
For my cumplemes Hermana Villagomez made me tacos Mexicano and Hermana Willden and I made a cake!!!
Praying for a better and more successful week this week. TENGO MUCHA FE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Los amo a todos!!
