Week 8: First Days In Argentina And My First Baptismal Invitation

Well I am offically in Argentina I am serving in a small town called Meta. The trip here was interesting. I had to travel all by self and I had no idea what was going on. Once I got to buenos Aires I met up with 6 latinos and we traveld the next day to salta where I met the mission president and his wife. They are so kind but we get a new president in a month or so.

I live with another companionship of sisters one is from México and the other is from Rome. My companion Hermana Labbé is from Chile and speaks zero english and she talks so fast. She is a worker I feel like I never have time to breath we are constantly doing something.
This week I got to meet the branch. It is so small but their testimonies are SO strong. They are all so nice and encouraging when I speak.
On sunday we baptized a 12 year old girl named Luana we hope to get her mom and sister baptized this week!!

I had my first member dinner. It was good although I didnt know what I was drinking but I did know that it was disgusting.

I was feeling pretty down yesterday and I was feeling pretty useless because my spanish is awful and I cant do anything but as we were out walking we met a man named Martin and we talked to him about the book of Mormon and he understood me!! We invited him to be baptized and he said he liked what we said and would think about it. I swear he was a literal gift from God. Later we made some phone calls and guess what!! I got my first yes to a baptismal invitation!!! I was so excited the day is set from july 1 and I hope everything works out!!!

I love you all
